Obituary of James Edwin Dempsey

James Edwin Dempsey, 77 of Morden passed away, surrounded by his loving family,February 28, 2018 in the Blomindon Court, Shannex, Greenwich. Born on March 19, 1940, he was the son of the late William Wallace and Amie Marie (Boudreau) Dempsey.

James was an avid hunter and fisherman, he absolutely loved the outdoors.  He was also very fond of and enjoyed tremendously dancing.

He is survived by his daughters Ruth (Brian) Watson of Windsor Junction; Cathy (Bill) Skinner of Hammonds Plain; Sherry of Bedford; sons Mark (Nancy) of East Dalhousie; James, Jr. of Windsor Junction; Ronald (Carrie) of Fall River; Stephen (Gretchen) of Morden; daughter-in-law Christine Dempsey of Windsor Junction; grandchildren James, Brandon, Nadine, Alicia, Kaylee, Brittney, Courtney, Jenifer, Ashley, Kelsey, Joshua, Jessica, Mellisa, Jennifer and Angie; great grandchildren Bradan, Jack, Logan, Brianna, Audrey, Mya, Ava, Jaylyn, Emmett and Carmen.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Pat and brother Ronald.

A visitation will take place on Sunday March 4, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Berwick Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Saint Anthony of Padua, 120 Mill Street, Berwick with Father Craig Cameron officiating. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick (902-538-9900).
