Bruce was kind , funny and a genuine man. I remember the good times in cloverdale. I Often thought to myself , what a close group of siblings. You all never judged, instead embraced and accepted. I know there will
Be many tears , but I’m thinking there are going to be smiles as you remember the silly times.

Bruce was a valued member of our team for many years, and we miss him terribly. Every day we worked with him was a privilege, and it showed in every interaction with his colleagues and our customers. He seemed to delight in going the extra mile for every customer, to make sure their experience with our company was an extraordinary one. He met every task and project assigned to him as if it was the most important undertaking in the world. I truly can't say enough about a man I only ever met once in person, when we flew him to Toronto to join us for our holiday get together. On behalf of all of the members of the Hill Street team, we wish his family and friends our deepest sympathies on his passing, and hope time will help to heal your sorrow.

Bruce and I have been friends since 1968 and we shall remain friends now through the many, many, many wonderful memories we have. From those early days at Dwight Ross, those early years fishing at 2 Inch Bay, our years at West Kings, our hitchhiking to Toronto in 1972, staying with my Grandad there for couple of weeks, our days in Ottawa, I have so many memories that make me proud and honored to call Bruce one of my best friends. Thank you Bruce for a lifetime of beautiful thoughts and memories. Until we meet again my friend. Rest In Peace Bruce.

Jerry and I sincerely regret that we were unable to make it to Bruce's celebration of life service today. We certainly thought of Bruce's family many times today. We lit a candle in his memory this afternoon in a beautiful cathedral here in Mexico.
Bruce was always so positive and full of life and fun and I always enjoyed our time with him. He will certainly be missed at upcoming gatherings, but I'm sure memories of him will be discussed for years and years to come. RIP Bruce and my sincere condolences to all the Fergusons and to Holly.

Dearest Doug - it shocked and saddened me to hear about your brother Bruce, and I just wanted to extend my most sincere condolences to you and your entire family. I will always remember him for his kindness, his hospitality, his sense of humour, and his laughter - I never saw him unhappy. A very gentle soul taken far too soon- my heart goes out to all of you. I know it is of little comfort, but I hope your memories of him keep him close to you and bring you some comfort during this tragic time. Sending tons of hugs and love your way - Glenda

Bruce and I were friends since high school. I was so happy to hear he was moving back to the Annapolis Valley after being away for so many years. I will always remember his infectious laugh and his unique sense of humour. When Bruce was around there were always good times. The last time I spoke with Bruce was just before we left for the winter. We chatted about getting together with the rest of the guys for a few days of camping and fishing at Cloud Lake when I got back in the spring. We still plan on doing that, Bruce.....and I know you will be with us in spirit. Rest easy my friend...I will miss you.

I knew Bruce for over 50 years, We grew up together in Greenwood and remained friends for the whole time. I was heartbroken to hear the news, They broke the mold when they made Bruce and the world is a better place because of him. When I think of Bruce I think of moonshine, homemade wine, risk and poker, RIP my friend.

I first met Bruce when he bought the house that I grew up in, in East Dalhousie. He was always full of fun, a great host and enjoyed life. It is tragic that it ended too soon.
Condolences to all his family and friends from Mavis and me.
