Helen was our neighbour. Although she lived alone she never seemed lonely. She grew up on the street where her friends and their families grew up as well. She was able to change with the times and had a wry sense of humour. She often threw well attended parties in her backyard surrounded by her well kept gardens in which she took great pride. A world traveler well into her seventies her house was chock full of knick-knacks and memories. She is gone but not at all forgotten.
