Les, Lee & Babin Family,
Judy and I were shocked when we saw that your beautiful Kim passed on.
Kim was such a friendly and outgoing soul., and she will be missed by you all and her friends so very much.
We were talking to our daughter Amanda about Kim; and first thing she said was how she remembered so many of them all staying overnight when they were young teenagers; and Kim making them all pancakes in the morning; laughing; smiling.
As you travel though this life, if you are fortunate; special people will come your way. Your Kim was one of those special people.
Your Mom will live on in each of you; in the way you see the world.
So many wonderful memories .. .. .. Keep those close as your go through the rough days and nights to follow, and during those really hard times; sit very still; close your eyes....and you will once again feel and see her.
Please accept our sincere condolences to all that loved Kim; and all those who loved her. With much love, Brian and Judy....

Les and Lee, and Family
I am so sad reading this. I have such wonderful memories of Kim. She was such a fun and sweet woman. I remember her doting on Sara and I (when we met cruising), she said she loved hanging out with girls finally! I remember so vividly jumping over to Kristina to hang out one day. We didn't jump over while the boats were docked; we rafted mid-journey, motoring along together, hoping from one mom to another. I can see her smiling face in our cockpit, playing games, telling stories, and most of all being in love with her husband and being incredibly proud of her ten-year old (at the time:). My deepest condolences to you both.
Big big hugs
Erin

Having worked with Kim on and off, I remember her helpfulness and tolerance, both with the students and me!
I admired her commitment and love for her family and the way she combined it with her love of sailing. She is leaving behind those who benefited from and grew because of her patience and kindness.
