I have never met you, but heard about you numerous times. Your mother was a member of our Monday bridge club for many years, and she and Al played bridge with my husband and me socially. The last time I saw Gerry was about a year ago, when I was in Kentville visiting family. She was busy knitting, and presented me with a dishcloth.
The visit I remember most took place not long before your father died. When I arrived, Gerry was having her hair done, then she showed me all around the residence, Al tagging along. "Well, he said to me, she buzzes around here like a bee in a bonnet, I hope the money outlasts her".
You had a very special mother, Margo, she was one of my favourites at the bridge table and a strong woman, one I admired greatly.
