Cathy, so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was one of our favourite UPS Store customers - a strong woman who took no guff from us. She kept us on our toes and always made sure we knew exactly what she wanted. Doris was immaculately groomed at all times and giving the impression of always being on her way somewhere important. What a delight and always very proud of her daughter. She initially introduced herself to us as "Cathy's mother" - although clearly a force in her own right. Treasure the memories of a wonderful mother.

I had the privilege of working with Doris, or as I called her Mrs. C, at Health and Welfare Canada back in the 70s. She was the best manager ever. So sorry for your loss.

To Doris' family. Sending my deepest sympathy on your Mom, Doris' passing. I met her at her sister Sheila's when she was up visiting one summer and we had a lovely visit. She has been faithful for years placing flowers in Chalmers United Church in memory of her parents and siblings - never missed an occasion.
