Sorry to hear of cousin Gerald's passing, although we hadn't seen each other really in probably 60 years, I was glad we had some time in late September to share a few laughs! Seeing him again after all those years I had no problem recognizing him his looks hadn't changed. Our condolences to Karen, Gordon, Allan AKA Cookie as well as Gerald's family for their loss. May he rest in peace.

I will miss Gerald. Always quick witted, and so kind , I have had the honor to be his nurse many times over the years. Always a pleasure. Gerald was so loving to all the other residents in his care home. My mother was one of them, he always had time to make everyone feel special. Off to the lake my friend, hope there is a nice whiskey waiting for you.

My mother in law painted this picture of the view at the shoreline of College Lake from the Cottage. I wanted to share it in memory of the good times we had at Collage Lake.

To me he was Uncle Gerald, during the chapter of his life that he was married to my aunt Kathy. Gerald had a welcoming presence and he loved his home and cottage. I was fortunate enough to spent many nights at the cottage and at their home in Brookfield. I will always cherish the memories and treasure the time we had together. I see you at the cottage on the deck overlooking the lake with a beer in hand. Rest In Peace.

On his birthday, I went to get him for a call from his brother. I told him to sit in one of our chairs at the desk and take the call. After he hung up, he told us about his brother. He then told a story only Gerald would tell another how good his brother was and how he, Gerald was the opposite. There was a lot of laughter.
