I am sorry to hear of Arnold's passing. I am Peter's widow, Retas daughter in law, and Reta always spoke well of Arnold. I wish I had been able to meet him. Audrey McLellan is also my cousin, and she was very fond of both him and Olive.
My sympathy to you all, and prayers for your comfort and peace.

I remember as a child (now 57) Arnold would come to Parker's Cove, NS driving his truck with apples and other wares stored in the covered top that was on his truck body. He would go in there and pick out the nicest russet apple for me. He was like the modern day ice-cream truck driving through the neighbourhood back then. KInd and gentle man.
