When my Uncle Kevin lived with us in Braintree, MA, he was the big brother I didn't have. We would play catch in the yard, make my younger brothers and sister laugh with his Kermit the Frog impressions and just be an all-around fun guy to be with. I lost touch with you over the years but would make it a point to visit you whenever I made the drive to Nova Scotia from Boston. It would be years in between, but when I would see you again, your voice and character would make it seem like no time had passed since the last time we spoke. I wish I could talk to you again. I wish I could hear you say one more time..."Kermit the Frog here..". I miss you Uncle Kevin and I'm so sorry I didn't make it clear how much you were loved.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Hunt family. Kevin had endured difficult obstacles in life that had left him, at times troubled. This did not hinder his love for his family; daughters, wife, parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, in-laws and many many cousins. His suffering is now over and he is with his Tammy, Jim and Heather. My wish for Kevin and his loved ones, is the beautiful, peaceful resting place that he always wanted. Many hugs to all

Uncle Kevin was always the joker in any room and always wanted to sing Elvis Presley. Daddy Please Don't Cry was our duet. Uncle Kevin and, Aunt Cathie lived in our family apartment dwelling for years. I spent a lot of time with them. I have so many childhood memories with Kevin. He met Cathie when I was only 3. Their pride and joy was Sara. I am so fortunate that I was able to see Kevin at my Wedding and able to have that recent memory with him.
My condolences to Kevin's family!! I hope you find some peace in his passing. Love, Janelle

I remember as kids living in Boston we were given some nice new pants for Easter. On the way to school he decided to cut the knees out of our pants so we couldn't go to school. Anytime I talked to him we always would mention that and have a good laugh. Mischievous but when he was feeling good had a great time. I just want to add that my Brother Kevin suffered bad with depression. Hes not the first or the last to suffer from this disease. Please try to recognize signs that you see from loved ones that suffer from depression. It's a disease just as important as all the others but gets overlooked and many suffer sometimes alone from it. Kevin came with a great personality and could charm a snake if he wanted to. He loved his kids, mom and dad and all his siblings. He also loved going to visit his cousin's in stewiake he cared for as well. And always mentioned about all the friends as well up in stewiake. This disease took alot of that away from him and its a shame that it did. I talked to Kevin a few times in the last two years and all that seemed to matter to him was to try to make amends with whoever he had to. Rest in peace my Brother and always know that you were always loved. I truly hope that your in a good place where your mind can finally rest.
