We were so saddened to read of Mary's passing. We met she and Rev. Jim when our son moved to Annapolis Royal as minister of St. George and St. Andrew. Rev. Jim was a true mentor to Robert and he and Mary were so kind to him. Mary would let him visit and have first pick of her fabulous jewellery for Christmas gifts. I will always cherish the beautiful pieces I have. Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers to you her family.

YoRDGDear Amy, Heather, Ross and families: We were saddened to hear of Mary's recent passing. We go back a long way in knowing your Mum....first of all in Ottawa back in the 1960's as we were stationed at Uplands and attended the chapel where your Dad preached. We always kept in touch through the years and finally retiring in Greenwood 26 years ago so visited back and forth occasionally. We will always remember Mary's warm, friendly manner and her many talents. Mary will be missed not only by you, but by the community at large (military and otherwise!). Treasure your many happy memories.
Sincerly,
Lina & Dave Henderson

Hello to all. I did not know Mary by that name. I knew her as Mrs. MacIntosh, my best friend Ross's mother. Though only a couple years younger than my own mother, Mary had always seemed much younger, possibly because she seemed less strict; less of a 'fuddy duddy'. She also made beautiful rings, generally out of pewter, but out of gold or silver by commission. She was very talented, as were all of the Family. I miss you all, and I send you my embrace in spirit, prayer, and love. Chris.

Thinking of your mum and dad and you all. Your mum and dad were so good to my mum and dad and our family. I loved running in to them in Annapolis Royal and I will always remember them welcoming me to their Dundee cottage when I was chasing around after a high school sweetheart. I will always remember your mum’s warm smile and positive take on life. Feast on the many happy memories you have of each of her and your dad.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary’s family and friends. Mary was a faithful and dedicated member of the Auxiliary for many years and could be counted on to help in any and all projects until ill health kept her home. We will miss her calm assessments and advice and her warm and loving personality. RIP dear Mary.

To all Mary's family:
It was was wonderful to know Mary and Jim over the 15 years of ministry after I succeeded Jim. She sang in the choir and Diane and I have many happy memories of her and have been in touch over the years of our own retirement. We wish all the family God's comfort as the days go by.

Mary was my friend. At first, when I drove my RV from my home in New Mexico to Nova Scotia, I fancied Mary's lovely jewelry. She trusted me in her home, even though I was an American tourist and a total stranger. Our friendship grew. Mary shared a lot of her history with me. I have lost all of my family; my sweet mom passed away in 2008. I know how it feels. To Mary's children I express my heartfelt condolences and my deepest sympathy. Please know always that the knowledge your mother shared with you, those things she taught you, and the love she gave you will always be with you. They are forever.
