We were very saddened to hear of Keith's passing. Joan and Keith were our next door neighbours in Wolfville (Whispering Creek ) for a few years. They were such a lovely and friendly couple, always willing to help us out or just chat over the fence.
Our deepest sympathy to the whole family during this sad time.

To Dave and all of the Hall family. Sincere condolences on your loss. Keith was a legend in policing world having served in the Newfoundland Rangers and in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. To have been assigned such important duties as guarding the Queen and being promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major speaks volumes of the character and person of Keith Hall. He served his community and his members well and continued to be a pillar of the community after his retirement. Keith, you did your best to keep everyone safe on your watch. Job well done SIR!

What a role model Keith Hall was for his community. I didn't meet him until he served a term on Wolfville Town Council, but I remember his calm listening skills. He and his dear wife were exemplars of active living long before it became a 'thing.' His erect bearing as he walked Main Street spoke to his proud past. Thank you Keith for all you contributed.

My deepest sympathies are with the whole family as you are grieving the loss of your beloved father, grandfather Keith. I am praying for strength and comfort to you all. For a number of years, Keith and I were next door neighbors. He was such a great human being, very kind, thoughtful and always willing to help. I visited him a few times at Marlane’s Lodge but had to stop when Covid arrived. He will always be remembered. May you all find some comfort in the beautiful memories you made together over the years. Blessings to you all.

I have many fond memories from years of visits from Aunt Joan and Uncle Keith. With Keith there was always the big firm handshake, lots of laughs (sometimes at his expense) and plenty of great conversation on a never ending list of topics. He will be missed by us all and forever in our memories. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to get together and share stories.

He was so tall to us as kids and handsome and how I loved how he and Joan always held hands. I knew him as soft-spoken and dignified kind. Both Joan and Keith took care of me when my mother went to hospital to have Shawn I remember Heather and I sneaking into her parents room and hiding under the bed when we heard him coming. Well he wasn't fooled and sternly gave us a talking to but I think he was laughing underneath it all. Watching Keith and Joan as a couple who met many challenges was inspiring. I like to think he Marilyn and Joan are together again. My heart hold yours in your time of loss.

We have known Joan and Keith since they moved to Wolfville. We knew them as parishioners of St. John's and as neighbours. Keith was a strong, forceful person who was also very kind and a wonderful neighbour.

My condolences to you Dave and your family. Always enjoyed chatting to your Dad as he made his way from home to the post office to pickup the mail. Always impressed by his ramrod straight back as he walked by me.

My family started trailering at Sherwood Forest in Coldbrook in the early 70’s and were summer neighbours of Keith and Joan for just a couple of years, but, I remember them as a lovely couple. One incident I do remember happened the day Joan made a stew in her pressure cooker and put the dough boys in and forgot to make sure they didn’t cover the release valve. The thing blew and they had stew all over the trailer. Lots of laughs. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Keith and Joan were my neighbours for many years. We moved to Wolfville in 1995 and had a house built not far from their home and Joan donated seeds from her garden to help me get started. I will always remember her "Newfy poppies". I remember going to her funeral service and seeing Keith carry her ashes to the graveyard. I missed seeing him walking on Main St. lately and wondered about his health. He always walked so well and it was obvious that he had been a proud Mountie. I was so sad to read of his passing but he obviously had a very fulfilling life filled with love and adventure. My sincere condolences to all of his family in this great loss. I will always remember Keith and Joan so very fondly.

I was saddened to hear of Keith's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great SM. I had the pleasure of visiting Keith in February. We chatted for over an hour and we swapped stories about Thornvale Barracks. He was always diligent to check in on the single members living in barracks, especially on Christmas Day. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
