My dear uncle Billy, you possessed a gentle soul and the kindest heart. It's way too soon in this life to never hear your unique laughter or be on the receiving end of one of your bear hugs. In my youth, you'd greet me with "Good morning, Sunshine" whenever I was lucky enough to have a sleepover at Nanny & Puppy's house. You held my hand in church and let me play with your typewriter (a big deal for a small girl). We even had twin cats for awhile! When I became a young mother, you offered the best advice, "Just love your kids, Wan."

It was an honour to be your niece.
