I would like to send my condolences to the Long family on the death of their father. While I never knew Murray nor met any of the family, I feel a certain connection. I was born and brought up in Seffernville in the house now occupied by Lois Robar. Our one room schoolhouse was only 100 yards from the Jim Hughes house, the home where the Longs have lived for many years.Thelma McDonald and Fred Naugler were my father's sister and brother and the old Naugler homestead is nearby now the home of Barbara, Grant Naugler's widow.When I was 9 years old, I went to live with Blair and Loretta Seffern until I left Seffernville for good to go away to school in Windsor. Through the years, I often returned to Seffernville to visit and I often considered stopping in at the Longs to say hello and introduce myself but always ended up thinking that it might be inconvenient for them. In any case,may I extend my sincere sympathy. My thoughts are with the whole family at this very difficult time.
