To Heather and Peter, Morgan and Nancy and the rest of the family. I want to offer my condolences. Dr. Price was my pastor for a few years when I moved to Wolfville. I sang in the choir with Peter. Regardless of age, Neil lived a full and blessed life. He was an inspiration to those who knew him. May he now forever bask in the love of the LORD whom Neil served so faithfully. Well done good and faithful servant.

Nancy, Heather, Carolyn and families
It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet and care for your Dad.
We developed a relationship sometime ago and he always made me smile. He tried so hard to report me on several occasions,
teasing that I did or didn't do something. He was a joker and full of life. I will miss his humor and sarcasm.
Someone so special can never be forgotten,
Heather LeBlanc -CCA Blomidon Court

Sincere sympathy in the loss of your father/grandfather. Both Neil and Mary led very full lives and were wonderful role models. There were many connections when we all were residents of Wolfville but a special association was Neil baptized me at the Baptist Church in Lawrencetown. May you experience God's comfort and peace.

It was an honor to become acquainted with Rev. Neil and Mary Price a number of years
ago when Rev. Edgar Richardson and wife Dorothy lived in what was then the Avonport Baptist
parsonage. Being close neighbors my late husband, a former Peace Keeper, and I were frequently
invited to their gatherings as were the Prices. Those days now hold precious memories to me.
The Prices never missed an opportunity to chat whenever our paths crossed after that. A
remarkable gentleman he lived his life to the full dedicated to the work of his
Divine calling. Blessings upon all who mourn his home going. - Annie Bird

Dear Price family,
What a life well lived. You can only be proud of Neil and his contributions. We have wonderful memories of Mary and Neil as members of the clergy group in Wolfville. Neil was a cheerful, jaunty member of our clergy group and also to work with on co-operative matters and joint services. I am thankful for the remembrance of him.

It was a privilege and honour to work with and become friends with Neil, a remarkable human being, just a great person. He was not only kind and caring but possessed a deep sense of purpose sprinkled with wisdom, humour and a good dose of realism. In other words, he was real to the core and as such respected, likeable and influential. Neil became one of the RCMP chaplains for Nova Scotia just before the Swiss air tragedy, he volunteered endless hours and provided guidance not only to the families involved but the many members and volunteers involved in the operation including the head Chaplin father Lloyd O’Neil and myself. He maintained the active role of chaplain for a number of years , an eventually was recognized with honorary status. It was alway refreshing to meet and speak with Dr Price, his upbeat personality was alway so pleasant to see and feel. We had many talks about life , his writings and near the end his views under — just wandering. Also enjoyed the stash of chocolates he maintained in his desk drawer.. Dr Neil Price’s presence touched many, many lives and will continue to live in our thoughts and prayers .
My condolences.

My family moved to Wolfville in July 1987 and, as luck would have it, Neil and Mary became our next door neighbours. Our kids were only 3 and 5 at the time and they were happy to step up as needed into the role of surrogate grandparents . I remember Neil consoling Michael when our dog died with a hug and simple words about the circle of life. He always had a smile and quip for us and even invited us at the cottage in Petite Rivière.
We were very fortunate to count Mary and Neil among our friends and join with the wider community in giving condolences to Carolyn, Heather, Nancy and their families. We have lost a goodD6p man.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and working with Neil as a member of the RCMP during Swissair. He was a fine gentleman and yes, a good sense of humour. He told me some of his flying adventures with Ferry Command during the war. He asked me to take a picture of him in his Chaplain’s uniform and I did but then I asked him to pose with his RCMP forage cap worn the way that RCAF and RAF aircrews wore theirs during those times. He promptly adjusted his cap to the appropriate jaunty angle accompanied by a big smile. I later sent him the photo. I hope he got it.
I have often thought of Neil since those days and wished I had known him better. Certainly a life well lived.
Condolences to his family.

He was the kindest soul, who was filled with so much knowledge and a passion for life , I honestly always looked forward to going in to chat with Neil and get my hug ❤ I remember when I was going casual at work for a little bit and I went into tell him that he wouldn't be seeing me everyday , we both had shed some tears but he told me I was doing what was best for my family & told me not to forget him , his face lit up when I was back full time as did mine ❤ I always was so envious of neils family& so humbled that he had such a loving / devoted family to love & care for him it was such a joy to see !
I'll forever miss you and work will not be the same with out you, fly high & tell Mary we say hello❤

I cared for Neil at Blomidon court for the past nine years until I recently moved on to a different job. I loved hearing his stories and sharing my own with him. Neil was always interested in how my kids were making out in their sports and teasing me. We shared banana cream pie with him on his birthday’s, where he entertained a roomful of his caregivers. He was a great man and I for one will truly miss him.
