I'm sorry to hear that Dave passed away. He was my mother Mary, and my bus driver years ago. Always waited for us if we were a couple of minutes late. Sweet man who would play our cassette tapes when we brought them. I hope he family and friends keep their fond memories of him close.

I had the pleasure of having Dave as a bus driver almost my whole life he drove my boys as well the whole time they went . He made sure every kid he drove knew that he knew their name he had treats at every occasion I had the pleasure of sitting in the front of the bus even though it's cool to sit in the back all of us fought to sit in front to hear Dave sing. If he saw one of us upset he would make sure he took the time to ask us if we were ok. He put everyone he met ahead of himself. I had the wonderful pleasure of having him and his lovely wife attend my wedding. He was always smiling his smile made you feel.happy it was contagious. He listened to our troubles and thoughts. Hed give advice but for the most part he listened. Listened and sang but of course his voice would put you in a good mood as soon as you heard him . Thank you Dave your voice carries on in our hearts .we love you Dave you'll be missed by many remembered by just as many

I had great privilage working with Dave for over 20years driving our School bus's in Middleton. Many times we'd speed walk laps around the race track beside AEES and enjoyed many great conversations. He was an incredible person and his presence always made me feel better about my day....He will be missed but not forgotten. My thoughts go out to Colleen and the family.. Take Care

It is with a heavy heart, and much sadness that I write this after hearing of David's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing him, and playing lead guitar in "Cousin Mary" many years ago. David was a good friend, kind person, and an excellent musician/singer/songwriter. I owe him a debt of gratitude for not just showing me, (and I'm sure many others) how to be a good person in this world, but to the fact that I had a voice, which I switched off to focus on guitar. I am glad that he reminded me that I could also sing, and encouraged me to switch my voice to "on" again. He was the best singer with whom I had the pleasure of sharing a stage. Unfortunately, I had to leave Middleton to pursue a "real" teaching job in Dartmouth, and with heavy heart, leave the band, but not before I had worked on some of his songs and we had "blended" our guitars. That music still resonates with me today, and I am proud and thankful that he let me into his world to experience it with him. It is now that I realize even more with keener awareness that David is a one-of-a kind person that you meet once in a lifetime if you are lucky. Truly, I was. All I can guess is that there are a lot of people in heaven who want singing lessons. We will miss you, and to Coleen, Jeremy, and Robin, know that I am thinking about you at this time.

To all of David's family
Please accept our Heartfelt condolences
I was so saddened to hear of his death just today
It's been a long time since we have talked but I will always remember his smile and how he could light up a room.
We knew each other off and on through several years and through several paths.
I loved his music and I still have a recording that he gave me.
We originally met as fellow cab drivers at Eldon's Taxi in Greenwood
That was a brief interlude for both of us but we hit it off and I never forgot him and followed his musical career for several years.
RIP Dave
The Choir up there will be enhanced by your presence
