Dear Darryl and Family,
Tony and I want to send our sincerest condolences on the loss of your mom. She was an incredible person. We loved her very much and she has a special place in our hearts. She was one of the kindest, most sincerest people I have ever known. She has a quiet courage about her which I admired over the years, especially after the death of her buddy, Keith. You are all in our thoughts. Life will never be the same on this planet without her....our sincerest sympathies....Tony and Nina

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. I met Bev and her "best buddy" when Gordon Tetlow hired me at Blomidon Nurseries because I wanted to learn how to grow flowers. Bev took me under her wing and Linda Huntley who also came to Blomidon at the same time. Took Bev a long time to make Linda stop calling the potting soil - dirt. It's not dirt Linda it's soil she kept telling her. Oh such laughes we had working with Bev on that rickety potting bench in the old potting shed; that when it rained the three of us would be trying to find a dry place on the bench cause the roof leaked so bad. This dainty little lady could waltz down through those greenhouses with a tray of plants in each hand, up above her head (cause we didn't have much room to maneuver between the racks of plants) when most couldn't. We always knew when it was quitting time as somebody would come through yelling - Keith's out there. That's my "best buddy" she'd say. What treasured memories I have of working with Bev. My regards to all the family. Sonya
PS: I don't think that Barry knew everytime he called home she'd tell us the next day about all his latest adventures away at college.

It's not dirt - it's soil! Took Bev a long time to get you straighten out Linda but oh the laughes the three of us had in that old potting shed at Blomidon.

Basil and I send our sincere condolences to the entire Brown family on the loss of their dear matriarch, Beverly. May she rest in the love of our good Lord, and may those left behind to mourn, be comforted in the fact she is reunited with beloved family members who have gone on before her. She has earned her eternal rest!

From the very first time that I was introduced to Beverly and Keith I was given to understand I was a member of the family and that never changed though a good many other things in our sercumstances did, Beverly's door was always open to me and the pot of tee readying the back of the stove.
