My beautiful Aunt ‘Bebby’ I called her until I was about 19. I could not pronounce Betty when I was little so Bebby it was… She was a second mom to Larry, Stephen and I and the only Auntie and Uncle living in Dartmouth. She was full of fun. I loved her beautiful dresses and shoes as she was a working lady and very stylish before she became a mom and devoted her time to her beautiful daughter Susan and then her grandchildren.
Betty loved to cook and we looked forward to her delicious lasagna every Christmas. She always travelled to NB with mom in the back on many occasions.
It was wonderful to see Betty and mom (Ruth) together again at Oakwood. Betty would say to me, ‘I am taking good care of my Baby Sister!’ And that they both did, take care of each other. Betty had a great whit and sense of humour. We shared many laughs and good times together. You will always be remembered my Aunt Bebby! Love Lana
