Dear Karen, Kevin, your Mom Pat and your families,
I was so sorry to hear that Fred had passed. I will always remember visiting at your home in Canning in our “Acadia days” and enjoying the relaxed camaraderie of your parents as they juggled “the everyday” and welcomed me into your family life. Fred was always up for a great conversation about any goings-on and I remember your good-natured banter with your Dad Karen… You have so many wonderful memories, I’m sure. Take care of yourselves. Love Rosemary (Al and Calum too).

Fred ( Charlie ) as your “angels” got to call you during and after our cruise on the Emerald Princess to Alaska just over 5 years ago. We all got new watches including you and each time we saw you we had to be in perfect time with your watch. So many laughs and memories with you on that trip. We tried with Karen to keep you on the straight and narrows. Again “ we tried “.
Your angels will miss you sweet man but know you are resting in peace.
Wendy. Mona. Linda

So many special memories. Dad(Charlie Stockall) and I remember having strawberry shortcake or ice cream cones after dinner while sitting in the sun porch overlooking Canning, listening to Uncle Fred’s stories of when they were young. So much laughter!! Dad also remembers the time that Uncle Fred and Aunt Pat came to visit with their camper. Dad and Uncle Fred would sneak down to Dairy Queen for peanut buster parfaits after the girls were asleep and then wash out the cups so that they wouldn’t know. We will miss you but will remember the laughter and love.

To all of Fred’s family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your great loss. Fred was a special man whose life was well lived. His dedication to his community made him a trusted leader and a mentor to many people.
My mother in law, Dot Bent, was an organist at the Canning church and always spoke so highly of Fred’s singing ability in the choir.

To Pat and all the rest of the family I want to offer my sincere condolences. Fred served as a very good chairman of the Board of Deacons during my tenure as pastor of the Canning Baptist church. We also sang well together in the choir. And we had a lot of fun in the kitchen preparing the pancakes at the church monthly breakfasts. Fred
was dedicated and could always be relied on. He will always be remembered. Heaven is now his home. He is reunited with those who went on ahead and he will be waiting for the rest of us to join him when our time comes. May God give a sense of His comfort and peace. Pastor Don

Q: What will you never forget about Frederick?
A: I will always remember my trips to Nova Scotia in the summer and spending time with him and his family. So many good times. Barbecues, cooking me lobster, going on trips. Taking me to Luneburg to sail on the Bluenose. Sail got canceled so we went for ice cream. I was always welcome to stay at their place when visiting. I remember the one trip trying to pay for his lunch at Wheatons. He told me No. he said you are our guest so you don’t pay. I talked to the waitress and won the battle. I explained to her it was only fair as I was staying with them and being feed very well and even did my laundry before flying back home. She made sure I got the bill. That’s just the kind of man he was❤️❤️❤️❤️
