Q: How did you meet Lenora?
A: I first met Lenora at one of Karen and Garry's wonderful parties at the Ranch. We were room mates staying at the main house. We had twin beds side by side. The first night we shared the room, well let me tell you, she snored just like my mom. (I am sure I snored a bit as well) It was as though my mom was right next to me. Such comfort!!
She was short and cute and very matter of fact. And I liked that. She was also a great card player. I love cards so this was such a bonus...haha. I could not believe just how many card games she new, and I wanted to learn ALL of them and play. Which we did ALL day long with Karen. Sometimes Kandis would join us. When Karleah and Cody were there we would play Canasta. I loved watching the interaction Lenora had with all three of them.....very special and precious indeed!!
When it came to cooking.......just ask her for some cooking tips, Lenora was great when it came to suggestions and short cuts.
I have such fond memories of Lenora tucked away in my memory. I am glad I have many.
Lenora,.... I am so happy I had the pleasure of you entering my life. May you smile down from Heaven always!!!

My friendship with Lenora began when she came to the two room school
in Avonport. We were both the same age. Although life situations kept us
mostly apart until she came back to Bishopville we remained steadfast friends.
'Have you been behaving yourself?" was always the first greeting I would hear
when we met up followed by laughter then catching up on our lives. So
many precious memories never to be forgotten. Heaven's Blessings Lenora .
Heartfelt sympathy to all who mourn. Love and prayers -- Annie
