We lived next door to Anne & Jeff many years ago, and with no immediate family in the area, we were invited to Muriel's home for Thanksgiving dinner. Muriel welcomed us into her home where we met the rest of the Marriott family. I am so sorry for your loss. Muriel was a kind and gracious woman.

Our family spent a lot of time when we were younger going to Aunt Muriel's house. We were there most of the day running through her house and yard. When my parents divorced, life changed as our Mom moved away. I loved Aunt Muriel so much for being a bright beacon of light. She had such a kind and generous heart. Whenever we met, there was always a big hug as I loved her. She will be missed Although your Mother has gone, the memories of her will always remain here. Aunt Muriel had so much love for you all, she will be with you in your hearts and memories. I believe our loved ones send signs to says they are good but some signs are subtle and others bang you over the head. Watch! God Bless You All. Love you

Nina and I send our sincerest condolences to all of Muriel’s family. As choir director at St. John’s Anglican Church, I cannot overemphasize how much Muriel meant to me and all the choir members: she was such a valued member of the choir and was always heralded as the real “boss” of the group and we all had to behave ourselves when she entered the room! I regret that unforeseen matters have resulted in my not being able to play or attend the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Muriel was a great friend to us as Sheila and I enjoyed taking her to swimming for many years. We also enjoyed serving with her in many ministries when we were members at St.John's. She and Sheila made such lovely music singing together in the choir and every year she hosted the choir Christmas party at her home. Every spring she also hosted a BBQ for all the church volunteers in her backyard with all her beautiful flowers. She was also committed to the women's 3D group which in the nice weather was held out on her back deck. She also made and served the best cup of tea. I was so glad to have made the trip up to Windsor to see her a short time ago. RIP my friend as you will be throughly missed. Our Deepest Condolences to all of the Marriott Family, Love Russ and the Simpson Familty
