I was so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. We travelled in the same circles at Horton, and spent a lot of time together during those years. And, I thought a lot of him. I guess it would be hard to still call him a friend, not having seen him in 40 years or so, but it still hurt to hear this news. My condolences to all the family, especially the brothers.
