Our deepest sympathy to Terry and Judy and family. Eleanor was a very interesting woman with lots of stories to tell, she loved having company and going on outings with you both. She was a talented artist and they will become memory pieces forever. God Bless

Condolences to the family. I'm so glad I got to spend some time with Eleanor not long ago. We had a great chat once we realized who we both were. It's a small world . when I asked her if she was related to Phil her eyes lit up and said yes my husband. Then we went from there. RIP Eleanor.

I was so sorry to hear of Eleanor’s passing. I was one of her “barn girls” for many years, and have so very many great memories from that time. So many hours spent riding, doing barn chores, drinking tea, and endless hours of “ horse talk”.
My first horse show experience was riding her beloved “Pokey” at the Morgan Horse show in Windsor. Several Red Ribbons and numerous great memories! Eleanor was known for her ability to fix a fence using nothing but baler twine! The teapot was always on and she was always up for a road trip to someone’s barn!
A kind, generous and caring person, she will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Mary Lou, Rick, and Terry, and their families.
With love,
Carol

Eleanor,
I believe people(souls) come into our lives at certain times when we are needing fulfillment that only they can provide.
The stories and questionable circumstances we have witnessed or may face down the road.
You will be missed by so many ,but will not be forgotten.
Thank you for the moments of endless wonder....
So glad we took our day trip to Digby ,thank you for sharing your life moments with me.
Until we meet again, Love,Anita

Our sincere condolences to all the family. I worked with Philip Nixon at M.W.Graves. a sweet man, & with her daughter Mary Lou Bethune at Berwick & District School. Wonderful family. Her paintings especially Mary lou's boat house at Lake George were breath taking. I believe she was Queen Annapolisa as well. Horses were certainly her passion as was her paintings. Your Family will keep you close to their hearts. You sure enjoyed a long life. R.I.P. Eleanor. Prayers for all. Deb & Sam.

I'm so sorry to see this , we had so many good times at the farm, so many great rides together she was a great friend and a wonderfull person. You could always count on her to be there if you needed to just sit and talk or needed a hand with something. I can still see her the day the mouse ran up her pantleg out in the feed room and the day my horse gave her the black eye and can still hear her say "Watch this" when Jackie would head to the the barn and that rooster would go after her!! So many good times. She will be so very miss by all who knew her .
