My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all Erle's family, friends, and comrades.
It was a joy to be in his company, always with a smile and kind words. As a member of Ortona Branch 69, I had the honor of visiting veterans with him at the Veterans Unit in Middleton. He was a staunch advocate for their care and comfort. I was truly humbled to be called his friend. A life well lived, he will be missed. Rest in Peace, Comrade Earle.
